Ingredients: 100% Sterile Saline
- Lean your child's head over sink (use a stepstool if needed to reach the sink). Tilt the child's head down.
- Gently insert soft nose tip into your child's nostril to make a seal around the nose. Do not overinsert.
- Ask them to keep their mouth slightly open and breathe through their mouth.
- Press to begin the rinse. Continue pressing to rinse for 8–9 seconds, or until fluid drains from the opposite nostril.
- Allow the fluid to continue to flow for another 8–9 seconds.
- Ask your child to avoid swallowing the solution and to spit out any fluid that might reach their throat or mouth.
- Repeat on the opposite nostril.
