Aloe Vera creams and ointments reimbursement may be eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). Aloe Vera creams and ointments are not eligible for reimbursement with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA) or a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA).

Only eligible if primarily used to treat a medical condition. Personal use not eligible.

What is aloe vera?

Aloe is a type of plant that grows in hot, dry climates that has been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years, dating back as far as Ancient Egypt. Through a variety of clinical trials and research studies, it has been found that aloe vera can cause changes in the skin to treat a wide variety of conditions that affect the epidermis, as well as containing properties that are harmful to certain types of bacteria.
